About Tracy

Tracy Bell, renewing VCI’s Meetings and Conventions programs, began her business career as an international stockbroker for Merrill Lynch in Montreal, Quebec. Later becoming a professional meeting planner and an entrepreneur, she created and profitably sold several wholesale and retail businesses. Returning to her home base of Dallas, Tracy created the first retail walk-in mosaic workshop/studio in the country. She also authored a globally distributed book, Crazy Mosaic, published by Laurel Glen. Before joining Verbal Communications Inc., she created a line of handmade mosaic belt buckles. “Just Reality Belts” are sold in 350 select retailers worldwide, including Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

After graduating from McGill University with a degree in Deaf Education, Tracy had to find ways to connect with her special needs students while getting her message across. She used a combination of firm “tell it like it is” and humor while empathizing with their frustrations, a quality that has stood her in good stead when working with today’s business clients. She has also received life-long individual coaching by her mother, Pauline Graivier, the founder of Verbal Communications Inc., providing the foundation for her communications success.
